Prairie Canada Carving Show & Competition Twenty-two years ago, a group of wildlife enthusiasts got together and founded the Association with a goal of promoting an appreciation for wildlife through carving. Today, Prairie Canada’s goal remains the same and we continue to support and promote our deep appreciation of wildlife through our annual Show and Competition. Over the years, our competition has grown to showcase a variety of carvings, including waterfowl, song and shorebirds, fish, traditional carvings, as well as, stone, bark, bone, and antler carvings. The Prairie Canada Carving Competition has not only grown in size, but has developed into one of North America’s premiere competitions.
