Bird Study Bills

Three new bills are available: American Coot, Mourning Dove and Western Grebe. These bills are similar to the earlier Miller style bills; cast from fresh specimens with little to no shrinkage and superb detail. Nothing can take the guess work out of bird bills and eyes like a study bill. We stock most common North American bills. Remember - it is impossible to accurately carve a bill unless you have the right reference.

Tri-Cutters

While they may look mean, these solid-carbide cutters are very smooth to use and easy to control. Also called "rotary chisels", they cut very fast and extremely clean in most materials including wood, soft stone, bone, and antler. The heads are made from solid carbide, so they should last nearly forever. They can be sharpened with a diamond sharpening wheel.
