Razaire™ 530 Accessories

All attachments for the Razaire 530 attach in seconds without any tools. It takes only a few moments to change from a table-top unit to a lap-top collector or even a vacuum with a 4" hose and variable suction. Low speed settings work great for picking up dust on workbenches without sucking up cutters and other heavier objects. 4" hose accessories work best with the inexpensive 4" vent hose available at most hardware stores.

There are 4 different filters available for the Razaire 530. While they work fine as single stage filters, they are best used in pairs (stacked). Adding an extra filter, or stage, increases both the performance and the life of the filter, with little to no discernible drop in suction. All filters are approximately 9.75" x 10.5" x 2".

Lap-top carving tray

This very comfortable tray was designed so that you can carve right in your lap. By standing it on edge and it excels at picking up dust from small stationary belt sanders and small grinders. The built-in lips are not only comfortable to rest your arms on, they can also be used to fashion the lap tray into a drawer that stores away under your desk or bench. Approximately 13" x 17" x 2".
Exhaust Air Deflector

Exhaust air discharges from the side of the Razaire 530. This adapter slips down over the exhaust, re-directing the air towards the back of the unit. Useful in classes, but it's also great to re-direct air in many other situations. It's also recommended that you use this deflector when using a Razaire 530 without the front hood.
4" Inlet hose adapter

Allows you to connect your Razaire 530 to many of your shop tools, to a lap-top carving tray, or even a cyclone lid (available as an after market attachment) to separate larger chips out so they do not clog up your filter. You can even use your Razaire 530 as a variable suction vacuum cleaner.
Motor Tool Hanger

Lets you mount your flex-shaft tool on the Razaire 530. Easily mounted on either side of the dust collector's T-rail. If the the Exhaust air deflector is in place then it can be mounted only on the right-hand side.
Standard 30% efficient (green) filter

Best choice for general wood dust applications, or as the first (front) stage when using higher efficiency filters. It is the easiest to clean and the longest lasting. Superb in pairs!
Medium 60% efficient (orange) filter

A good choice for the second stage, especially when collecting antler or bone particles. Easily cleanable and fairly long lasting. Best used as a second (rear) stage behind a standard filter.
High 80% efficient (pink) filter

Best used for hard to capture particles like soapstone and eggshell. Also good for maximum efficiency when a single stage is desirable. Due to the fine weave of this filter it is not as easily cleaned as the others and will require more frequent replacement. For best results we recommend using it as a second stage with a standard filter in front.
Activated Charcoal (gray) filter

Most often used as a second stage to reduce many odours like burning wood, antler and eggshell. Recommended as a second stage as it will require frequent replacement if used alone. Note: This filter does not eliminate odours. It has proven effective in reducing airborne odours and works best at low fan speed settings.
Extra 2" Filter Frame

Simply snaps on to the front of your Razaire 530, allowing you to add as many filter stages as you want (one frame required per stage, we recommend no more than 3, but more could be used if you wish). Also a great way to make your own custom hoods for the Razaire 530 - attach a frame and build your custom hood onto it for a quick-release attachment.

Foredom Belt Sander Kit

The Foredom Belt Sander Attachment Kit uses 9/32" x 10-1/8" belts. supplied with #30 handpiece, chuck key, hex key, 180 grit belt installed and 3 each of 100, 180, 240 grit replacement belts. Fits all standard Foredom flex-shaft machines.
