Razertip Pyrography Tips - page 1
The tips that started it all back in 1985! "Razer" sharp and super fine. Tips are sharpened and polished to a Razer-sharp edge. Many Razer-tips can burn over 120 lines per inch right out of the package! We now produce well over 600 different tip profiles and sizes plus custom tips, most in your choice of fixed or interchangeable styles. In 1996 we added our new line of heavy-duty tips; the toughest hot wire tips ever made. Razertip not only makes the finest and sharpest, but the toughest, too! This full selection is unique to Razertip. All of our pens and fixed tips carry a full one year unconditional warranty. If a fixed tip fails after one year, don't throw it out! It costs only $5.00 (except for scale tips which are actual cost of tip) including shipping and taxes to have it replaced. Interchangeable tips are warranted.

# 1L Large Skew
General use tip for pyrography, cutting, fine detail. A very versatile tip, especially for small work.
# 1M Medium Skew
General use tip for pyrography, cutting, fine detail where #1L would be a bit too big. A good and popular all-around tip shape.
# 1S Small Skew
General use tip for pyrography, cutting, fine detail. A very versatile tip, especially for small work.
# 1XS Extra Small Skew
Smallest Skew tip in the world! Super fine for extreme miniatures and exceptionally fine detail. Best used at lower heat settings - generally under "7". Unique to Razertip.
# 1S-L Small Long Skew
Long version of 1S tip, available only in Heavy-duty. Used for cutting and detailing gourds and for cutting plastics.
# 2A Modified Tight Round
General pyrography, fine detail on flat surfaces and gourds. 2A and 2B are used in similar ways.
# 2B Tight Round
General pyrography, fine detail on flat surfaces and gourds. Personal preference would dictate choice of 2A or 2B.
# 2M Medium Round
General pyrography, fine detail on flat or medium concave surfaces.
# 2S Small Round
General pyrography. Very fine detail on small, concave surfaces. Great for detailing sculpted feathers and for "burning for color".
# 2XS Extra Small Round
Extremely tiny tight round tip (approx. 1/16" wide), useful for very small miniatures or where exceptionally fine detail is needed. Best used at lower heat settings - generally under "7". Unique to Razertip.
# 2LC Large Round Shader
Shading larger areas in pyrography. Available in Heavy-duty only.
# 2M-S Small Medium Round
General pyrography, fine detail on flat or medium concave surfaces. Longer shank provides better reach & slightly cooler operation.
# 3 Lamilae Maker
Specialized pen for forming the lamilae, or tooth-like serrations on duck bills. Heavy-duty only.
# 4L Large Flat Skew
Large flat skew for general detail work. Allows you to work more directly above your work than if using the 1L.
# 4M Medium Flat Skew
Medium flat skew for general detail work. Allows you to work more directly above your work than if using the 1M.
# 4S Small Flat Skew
Small flat skew for general detail work. Allows you to work more directly above your work than if using the 1S.
# 5L Extra Small Round
Very large spear, sharp on both edges for detail work. Very useful for gourd work.
# 5M Medium Spear
Popular for general pyrography, feather and hair detailing, and embellishing or decorating wood turnings.
# 5S Small Spear
Very small spear. Ideal for miniatures and very fine detail in pyrography. Unique to Razertip
# 5XS Extra Small Spear
World's smallest spear (approx. 1/16" wide). Ideal for super-miniatures as well as extremely fine detail in pyrography. Unique to Razertip. Best used at lower heat settings.
# 5MH Wide Groove Medium Spear
Very similar to our #5M, except sharpened with a more blunt angle for a wider groove and more strength. Popular with wood-turners.
# 5MC Medium Spear Quill Maker
Great ambidextrous quillmaker! Depresses wood beside feathers & quills. Large footprint for a wide ramp. Square edges assure smooth tracking.
# 5SC Small Spear Quill Maker
Small version of the 5MC. Used in similar way, but for smaller or more delicate work. Unique to Razertip.
# 5X2 Special Spear
2" spear gets hot only at the tip, so you won't scorch the entry path. Great for hard-to-reach places. Unique to Razertip.
# 5X3 Special Spear
Same as the 5X2, only one inch longer for extra reach. Unique to Razertip.
# 5MP Medium Spear Shader
Medium-sized shader has a flat footprint for larger areas. Slightly rounded edges help the tip glide over your surface while shading.
# 5MSP Medium/Small Spear Shader
A mid-sized spear shader between the "medium" and "small".
# 5SP Small Spear Shader
Small version of the 5MP. Used in similar way, but for shading smaller areas. Unique to Razertip.
# 5SP-L Small Long Spear Shader
Similar to the #5SP(small) shader, but with a longer "nose".
Ceramic Abrasive SticksSolid 2" x 3/32” diameter ceramic abrasive sticks will fit directly into your rotary tool. Ceramic sticks will outlast conventional stones by many times. Because they are uniform in diameter, they are absolutely vibration-free and they cut cleaner and smoother than any other texturing tool. Available in 8 grits from #120 to #1200.
